It's important to pay attention to the individual sizing charts of our vendors. Sizing is not standardized. To help you understand your sizing and ensure you receive a piece that fits you well, we have placed a sizing chart on our product pages when made available to us. This page also gives you tips on figuring out where you fit within each chart, as well as the charts that appear on our product pages.
If you have a question about sizing, please contact us by clicking on our Contact Us link at the top of our site or email us directly at info@jmalnick.com. You may also call us directly to speak with one of our experienced Sales Associates at 510-808-0308.
Tips on figuring out your size:
Since all sizes are not standardized, it's important to take your own measurements. Below are tips on how to measure the areas that will determine your size.
Bust: With arms at sides, place the tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bustline and across the shoulder blades.
Waist: It's important to find your natural waist, not the area you think is your waist. To find your natural waist, bend to one side. Run the tape measure around your waistline, keeping one finger between the tape measure and your body to ensure a comfortable fit. It's better to be a little larger than too small!
Sleeve: Measure from the center back of your neck, over the shoulder point, and down the outside of your arm past your elbow to the wrist. Make sure your arm is relaxed at your side.
Hips: With feet together, run your tape measure around the fullest part of your hips & buttocks area.
Inseam: For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle.
